Our mission at Halo is to move science forward. Incubated at the University of Chicago, our platform connects scientists directly with companies that can help bring their innovations to market. We work with the R&D teams at some of the world’s largest companies – including PepsiCo, Bayer, Baxter, Georgia-Pacific, Reckitt and P&G – on topics ranging from sustainability to human health. Since going live in January 2020, more than 2,000 scientists from 65 countries and 6 continents have joined. We are funded by Village Global, the venture firm backed by Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Reid Hoffman and other tech luminaries.
